LIFESAVERS FOUNDATION, PAKISTAN is a non profit organization established in 2001 with clear aims and objectives to devote all its effort in improving the emergency skills of all the medical staff and general public at a broad scale

As a first stage strategy LSF has taught and trained doctors followed by paramedics, nurses and others the organized modern approach of basic and advanced cardiac and trauma life support. Keeping in mind there is a vast number of medical personnels untrained in this field the efforts have continued without the gap since 2001.

To achieve this goal the methodology has been simple as not all areas of the Pakistan can be covered with the LSF efforts alone. The master trainers are trained locally in various big towns, who can train others keeping in view the standards of the training and certification. So far such centre has succesfuly worked at Karachi, where Liaquat National Hospital has setup its own unit to teach the medical personnels at minimal costs.

The efforts for training purpose started with the equipment donated by Sindh Medical College Alumni Association of North America (SMCAANA). The training was started with huge response with training instructors coming from USA as well. The process has continued and will continue InshaAllah

LSF expects that everyone who is being trained not only learns oneself but also helps in the training of other people as well wherever possible. Join this effort to bring more skills and improvement in the field of health in pakistan.
